Would you like to meditate like your cat? Don’t have a cat? Chances are your neighbor does. Cats are meditation experts, including the author of Meditate Like Your Cat, Buster Studebaker. Buster is a rescue orange tabby who came walking up his “hooman’s” driveway one Labor Day morning after having been dumped in the country by his previous owners. Even as a three-month old little boy he knew he had found his forever home. He already knew how to use a litter box, eat what was served him, and sit on everybody’s laps. It was during these sittings that we discovered his penchant for deep meditation.
This book was “dictated” by Buster to his primary hooman servant, Alden Studebaker. He speaks directly about the challenges human beings face in attempting to meditate. He doesn’t mince words. He’s in your face. He’s direct. He wants you to succeed and become as proficient at meditation as he and other cats naturally are. We hope you enjoy this fun yet spiritually pragmatic little book.

Twenty-three years ago I spoke at Unity Temple on the Plaza (July 12, 1998) and shared about my newly released Bible Handbook, Wisdom for a Lifetime. It was a thrill to speak to hundreds of people, and at the book signing following the service we ran out of books!
This is a photo of me from that time period and the book.
